A Porsche está a entrar no “comboio verde”, ao estabelecer rotas para atividades sustentáveis e responsáveis. Desde o dia 1 de janeiro de 2018, todos os transportes ferroviários de veículos das estações de carga em Kornwestheim e Leipzig foram alimentados por energia renovável verde.
O fabricante de automóveis desportivos está a transformar o transporte de logística ferroviária num processo completamente neutro em carbono. Como resultado dessa mudança, a Porsche reduzirá as emissões anuais de CO2 das operações logísticas em três por cento, evitando a emissão de mais de 6.000 toneladas de dióxido de carbono.
“O uso considerado de recursos e atividades orientadas para o meio está firmemente ancorado na estratégia corporativa da Porsche”, diz Oliver Bronder, vice-presidente de Logística e Controle de Produção da Porsche AG, e acrescenta “a transição para a energia verde, para o tráfego ferroviário, é um passo lógico e outro marco para a produção neutra de CO2”. Ao longo deste ano, a empresa planeia expandir ainda mais o transporte ferroviário.
Ao ligar Bremerhaven a Kornwestheim, a percentagem de veículos transportados por comboio aumentará em cerca de 45%. Isso significa uma redução adicional no transporte de camiões poluentes, evitando mais de 650 toneladas de CO2 para o clima em cada ano.
Desde o dia 1 de janeiro de 2017, a Porsche colheu energia verde de fontes eólicas, de água e solar. A partir de 2020, a empresa converterá o fornecimento de calor na fábrica principal em Zuffenhausen para o biogás, economizando até 5.000 toneladas adicionais de dióxido de carbono por ano.
Fornece transporte ecológico para logística
A Porsche também oferece transporte ecológico para logística entre cidades e fornecedores. Nas estradas de Stuttgart, o fabricante de automóveis desportivos utiliza atualmente três camiões alimentados por gás natural, reduzindo as emissões de CO2 na cidade em aproximadamente 119 toneladas de dióxido de carbono por ano. As emissões de dióxido de carbono são reduzidas em até 20 por cento; em partículas em cerca de 80 por cento e monóxido de carbono em 90 por cento em veículos com GNV (gás natural comprimido) em comparação com camiões convencionais.
